Celebrate the holidays bluegrass-style. Minnesota bluegrass songstress Becky Schlegel performs Christmas classics with The High 48s at 7 pm Saturday Dec. 12.
With a voice that floats, whispers, and soars, Becky Schlegel is a songwriter whose music bridges country, bluegrass, and folk traditions providing a wonderful foundation for so many holiday favorites. Becky will be joined on stage by the High 48s Since forming in northeast Minneapolis in 2006, The High 48s have been making music that combines the soulful sound of classic bluegrass with a modern attitude. Opening the show will be Duluth duo Salt and Pine .
